Kamil Czapiga is a Polish multidisciplinary artist whose creative path began in art school and evolved through graphic design and over a decade running a tattoo studio. In 2019, a microscope became the catalyst for his Cosmodernism practice—shifting his focus toward science-driven abstraction where chemistry, sound, and movement converge.
He is known for abstract audio-visual creations that merge science, music, and art, capturing fleeting microscopic events and transforming them into immersive visual compositions. His work reveals the hidden beauty of systems that are normally invisible—microscopic, unstable, and ephemeral—translated into precise visual structures.
Merging Fluid Dynamics with Swiss Craft
For VIEREN, Cosmodernism translates his fluid-based practice into the scale of a watch dial. Using alcohol inks and the manipulation of temperature, air, and chemical reaction, he creates compositions shaped by both unpredictability and precision.
Each piece captures a moment of movement that would normally dissolve within seconds, now preserved in permanent form. The challenge lies in restraint—capturing chaos at the exact moment it becomes still.

The Fleeting Beauty of Time
Cosmodernism’s practice is rooted in working without time—allowing processes to unfold instinctively, without structure or measurement. This collaboration introduces a contradiction: preserving a moment that would normally dissolve within seconds.
Through experimentation, he developed a method to suspend fluid reactions at their most expressive point, transforming instability into permanence. The work becomes a study in timing, where control is defined not by intervention, but by knowing when to stop.

Each dial becomes a study in control and collapse, where precision is defined by when to stop. Through repetition and refinement, he isolates the fleeting instant where chaos becomes form.
