We offer 2 Year Limited Warranty on our timepieces. VIEREN automatic watches are guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a two-year period from the date of purchase.

WHAT IS COVERED UNDER MY 2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY?

VIEREN automatic watches are guaranteed against any manufacturing defects for a two-year period from the date of purchase. The 2 Year Limited Warranty will only be honoured at VIEREN Authorized Service Centres with the accompanying warranty card.

WHAT IS NOT COVERED UNDER MY 2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY?

The limited warranty does not cover:

  • Theft, loss, natural disasters and accidents (drops, shocks)
  • Damage resulting from mistreatment or improper use
  • Damage resulting from tampering with the watch by any party whatsoever other than an Authorized VIEREN Service Center
  • Wear and tear from normal use and aging of the watch
  • Water resistance problems and their consequences if the watch has not been serviced for 3 to 5 years
  • Requests for the repair of the watch of when the warranty card has not been activated
  • Any liability for consequential or incidental damages that exceed the retail value of the watch

WHAT IF THE WATCH IS DAMAGED OR FAULTY WHEN IT ARRIVES?

We're very sorry to hear that. If there are any problems with your watch, feel free to contact us at help@vieren.co within 10 days of your original purchase and one of our VIEREN Service Agents can help you out.

HOW DO I CLAIM MY 2 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY?

If there are issues with your timepiece, you must report the defect to a VIEREN Service Agent within the two-year warranty period at help@vieren.co with a photo of the warranty card.

The defect will be assessed under the terms of warranty by a VIEREN Service Agent. All assessments of the warranty terms and defects will be at the sole discretion of VIEREN.

Upon acceptance, you will be provided with shipping details to the nearest VIEREN Authorized Service Centre. The package must be packed securely to protect the watch and shipped by insured mail. The warranty will only be honoured at a VIEREN Authorized Service Centre. Your watch will be diagnosed at the VIEREN Authorized Service Centre by an experienced horologist of Swiss automatic watches. Applicable defects will be repaired at VIEREN’s discretion within a reasonable time.

All transportation costs (including, but not limited to, postage, insurance, and packing materials) and any damage to the watch incurred in presenting or sending the watch to the Authorized Service Center is the responsibility of the party presenting or sending the timepiece for service. When sending the watch, please do not include any packaging you wish to be returned as all shipping materials are discarded upon receipt.

HOW OFTEN SHOULD I SERVICE MY AUTOMATIC WATCH?

We recommend servicing an automatic watch every 3-5 years to ensure it lasts a lifetime.

An automatic watch is a mechanical machine that tells perfect time. Similar to a car, it needs to be serviced to ensure parts function properly, it’s properly lubricated, and any damaged parts are replaced.

WHERE CAN I GET MY WATCH SERVICED?

VIEREN recommends getting your watch serviced every 3-5 years and offers support for servicing your timepiece at one of our Authorized Service Centres.

For your convenience, simply email your service request to help@vieren.co with your request details and we’ll provide more information on how to service your watch at a VIEREN Authorized Service Centre.

WHY DO I HAVE TO SERVICE AN AUTOMATIC WATCH?

Like a high performance car, an automatic watch needs to be serviced to ensure the mechanics are working properly.

A full servicing involves cleaning, lubricating, and fixing the watch. A watchmaker opens up the watch and meticulously takes apart the tiny parts of the movement to clean each part and add lubricating oil to jewels that may have dried up. Any damaged parts are replaced to ensure they do not cause further damage over time.

The movement is then put together and goes through a series of intensive quality controls to ensure its accuracy under various external factors (like water resistance, humidity, and pressure). The watch must pass all quality and accuracy tests before the case can be closed and the watch returned to the owner. This process is an important one and will allow you to wear your timepiece for a lifetime.
